Best Western Hotel Atrium Valence - Valence (Drome)

The hotel is located just a short walk from the lively main square, where we enjoyed several good dining options.

The bathroom layout was odd, with a half-meter step up into the shower, making it inconvenient to use.

The hotel has a central location very close to the center of Valence. Plus, it's in Faubourg Saint-Jacques district, close to restaurants and essential shopping, the centre as other hotels and main areas of Valence and places to eat.

The carpet in my room felt dark and uninviting. The bed was uncomfortable and springy-definitely not what I expected in a hotel. The high breakfast price for two at 32 euros felt exorbitant, especially when the quality wasn't excellent. The surrounding area left much to be desired.

Clean & comfortable Helpful Staff Good Parking.

Spacious comfortable room, very spacious and well equipped bathroom, very pleasant breakfast troom, excellent breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Secure parking fpr motorbike. Near to town centre and plenty of places to eat.

No easy chairs in bedroom, just one small chair. No room service although tea etc available in reception area.

All fine, but parking situation.

The hotel was ok and the staff friendly. The location was reasonably well not too far from the motorway although the area is not the best of valence.We wanted to stop there for a night during a long trip so it was convenient. Parking was also good.

We asked for a family room with 2 kids 3 and 18 months. They gave us a room which was on two floors with a steep ladder. So I had to sleep on the bottom floor with the kids to make sure they will not try to climb the stairs at night. It was not the most safe otpion for a family with small kids plus it was on the 6th floor and I had to make sure that the window is closed. It was ok for 1 night but I wouldnt stay for long.

It was a bit hot without air-conditioning but is understandable as normally air con would not be needed in this area very often.

The underground closed parking. I would stop there again just for the safety feeling. The breakfast was good too.

The room is very basic, so don't expect the quality and cleanness of a Spanish-two-star-hotel level, it's France...
